2023 SEASON - Eligible players must be 13 to 15 years of age (not turning 16 prior to December 31 and not going into grade 10).

2023 Bantam Regular season

 2023 Bantam regular season - Starts Aug. 1 6:15 8:15 PM

Practice will be outdoors at East lake soccer field 720 East Lake Rd NE, Airdrie

All football equipment is provided, with the exception of cleats, which is the responsibility of the player.

Athletes are asked to bring/wear the following:

  • Football or soccer cleats 
  • Water bottle, Clearly labeled with their name
  • Appropriate clothing for outdoor training (dress for the weather)
  • If you or your athlete is feeling ill or unwell please stay home

Football is played in all types of weather as such we will practice through most weather conditions. However, we will cancel practice due to thunder/lightning, hail or severe heavy rail fall. We will notify of cancelations as soon as we can through our social media, email and our website ( Please be aware weather conditions can change rapidly resulting in cancellation mid practice. Please return to the field promptly to pick up your athlete as there is little to no shelter on the field.

The Airdrie Raiders Girls team plays under the Calgary Bantam league (CBFA) competing in 6-A-Side tackle football. Players from Bert Church, George Mac, W.H. Croxford, Drumheller and surrounding communities combine together to make up this team. Every skill and experience level is welcome! All of the required equipment, except for cleats, is provided for each player. The coaches are trained and certified in safe contact, and participants will learn the proper techniques to safely and confidently play the game in a fun and supportive environment. The Airdrie Raiders Girls team has the first, and only, female head coach in Calgary and area youth football, and has a number of experienced coaches, some of which are women. We believe in providing the players with positive role models and an invaluable experience.

Airdrie Raiders Spring League

The Airdrie Raiders Spring Football Team plays in the Calgary Spring Football Association (CSFA) Players compete in 12 man football using Canadian Football League rules. This is a Competitive Team that develops players to be better for their High School Football teams. Players from Bert Church, George Mac, W.H. Croxford, Drumheller  and all surrounding communities combine together to make an All-Star team.
